As a man who shaves every morning for work, the Christmas hols provided a nice break from the ritual ablution at the bathroom sink. So a few days stubble would provide a worthy road test for these products.

The shave cream created a good rich lather from a small amount of cream and produced a close and smooth shave. The smell? Clean and fresh.

Next up, I massaged in the Face Scrub which was really invigorating thanks to the Eucalyptus and Jojoba beads, apparently. I followed this with the post shave moisturiser which immediately refreshed and soothed. The shave cream, face scrub and moisturiser now sit nicely by the bathroom taps and will be used daily while the obligatory Christmas gift sets have now been relegated to the back of the cabinet. 

Now it’s not that I’m not a morning person, it’s just that I struggle to engage in conversation until I’ve had a cup of tea and a shower. This is where the Face and Body Wash gets the seal of approval. Lively and energizing brought to you by the Patchouli, Bergamot and Vetiver I guess. This is a firm favourite and may well contribute to a more meaningful breakfast table exchange.
