We all need a hero from time to time, and over the years we have seen the launch of many new products, but it appears to be the everyday items that we love, need and use making them beauty heroes of our time.

Neal’s Yard have many products that fit the ‘hero’ tag, but the Frankincense Hydrating Cream (£23.00 for 50g from nealsyardremedies.com) has to be at the tops. It’s amazing!  Even my husband likes the smell of this moisturising cream.   1. What’s your definition of “natural” beauty products? The only list that I know of which has been approved by a green organisation is that of the Women’s Environmental Network: http://www.wen.org.uk/cosmetics/table_08.htm
    However many of the brands you recommend aren’t on this list.
