Living Nature launches new improved range
Natural skincare brand improves fragrance, quality and feel
Jan 18th, 2010Living Nature’s research and development team have been busy making some exciting changes to their skincare formulations.
The result is an improved fragrance and better product quality and skin feel.
New fragrance: Their new skincare fragrances are 100% natural. Crafted especially for Living Nature by an expert fragrance blender, they are derived from natural essential oils.
Improved quality and skin feel: The ingredients and production processes have been enhanced resulting in improved quality, skin feel and absorption. Natural extracts include ginger root to soothe and calm, pequi fruit to nourish, larch tree to control moisture and improve the appearance of superficial fine lines and olive leaf to prevent bacteria and increase skin hydration.
Clearer naming: Living Nature have renamed some products to make choosing the products easier.
The company founded in 1987, in New Zealand, was one of the world’s first to produce a skincare line without the use of synthetic preservatives or parabens. The products contain the native healing plants of New Zealand and are organic and wild crafted.
Encompassing skin, body, hair, grooming, cosmetics (mineral range) and spa, the range aims to naturally protect, nurture and enhance the skin without the use of any artificial chemicals. Living Nature avoids synthetic preservatives such as parabens, alcohol, phenoloxyethanol, sodium lauryl sulphate, artificial fragrances, phthalates or petroleum and mineral based oils and is certified natural under the strict standards of BDIH.
New Zealand has been geographically isolated for over 80 million years, in which time a unique flora has evolved. Over 80% of New Zealand’s plants are found nowhere else in the world and it is these unique healing plants that form the basis of the Living Nature collection. These include:
- Manuka Honey – ‘World famous honey’ – a natural humectant with anti-microbial & biologically active qualities)
- Manuka Oil – ‘New Zealand Tea Tree’ - anti-bacterial, protective qualities
- Harakeke – ‘New Zealand Flax Gel’ – antiseptic, soothing and healing
- Totarol – ‘Prehistoric native tree’ – anti-microbial with potent anti-oxidant activity
- Kumerahou – ‘Gum diggers soap’ – anti-microbial with gentle lathering and cleansing properties
- Halloysite Clay – ‘One of the finest clay’s in the world’ – absorbs pollutants and exfoliates the skin
Nicola Alexander, founder of daisygreenmagazine.co.uk, swears by the brand:
“I have been using the new formula products for five weeks now, and I love them! I much prefer the fragrance and the textures. My skin is certainly brighter as a result and that’s tricky to achieve in the middle of winter. The whole collection is now a firm favourite and I would definitely buy it again.”
