Spa reviews earn money for charity

Wahanda to pay £1 to water charity for every review of a spa, salon or gym

Oct 29th, 2009

Charity WaterWahanda has teamed up with charity:water to help provide clean and safe drinking water to deprived communities around the world.

Wahanda is an information superhighway containing all you need to find your ideal pampering break. It lists more than 8,000 spas, salons, gyms and therapists and money saving offers on pamper locations.

Now, for every review written of spas, salons, gyms and everywhere else, they will give £1 to help fund the charity:water project.

All you need to do is register for a free Wahanda account, find any spas, salons, or gyms you’ve visited and write a review.

All of the money raised is donated to charity:water, a non-profit organisation that makes sure that 100% of the funds donated go directly to funding projects. Since 2007, they’ve helped fund over 1,000 water projects across 14 nations. These projects have created sustainable sources of clean and safe water for over 600,000 people to date worldwide.

According to the charity, just £15 raised is enough to provide one person in Africa with clean drinking water for 20 years and so it’s not hard to make a difference.

To raise £1 for charity:water, go here to select the place you would like to review on Wahanda, register and then leave a review.
