The only photo I have

Dear all,

I have been keeping a secret from you all. Apologies for not keeping up to date with my Green White Wedding Blog but I got somewhat sidetracked.

I am going to be a mummy and although H2B and I are very much still getting married at some time in the future it is no longer our priority. Even though the planning of the wedding is on hold I have lots of gems of information when the wedding blog recommences.

The journey so far
We found out that we two were to become three an absolute age ago (July). I took 13 pregnancy tests to prove it to myself (not very green) and managed to keep baby a secret until after the first scan to friends, family and work. H2B and I even chose our 2009 summer holiday to be in the UK as we didn’t want to risk going too far afield, which was a surprise to our friends and family as until last year we loved to travel as much as possible.

I have eaten really good food (mixed with some essential rubbish), anointed my skin with several lovely lotions and potions (and still got stretch marks), exercised, learnt about new shops and brands I had never heard of before, visited nearly new baby sales, read lots of books and I am going to let you know all about them over the next few weeks.

In the photo I am still managing to wear vintage which is fabulous. This is a 1970s dress from Bowler Hat Vintage and at a size 16 it fits well and it still has some room for growth.

Green baby here we come.
