Pure Design help their customers inject a little sustainability into their lives and actively promote up and coming designers offering them a platform to raise awareness for their craft which in turn helps small businesses.

Laura Rosenzweig, founder of Laura’s Loom is one such designer who sources the wool for her stunning collection of 100% wool wraps, throws, babies blankets and scarves from farmers in the Yorkshire Dales.

The Dentdale Wrap is woven from organically processed bluefaced Leicester wool and is beautifully soft, naturally breathable and insulating and ideal for keeping you warm against the winter cold.

The wool is collected from local farmers, sorted by Laura and sent to Lightowlers Spinners in Yorkshire to be spun. The wrap is woven at Drove Weaving in Langholm and finished (washed and fringed) at Schofields in Galashiels. Final preparation is carried out by Laura at Farfield Mill. Any purchase from Laura’s Loom helps to support hill farmers living and working in the Dales and celebrates the high quality of British wool.
