They’re both big and they’re both green. But in York it’s a ’Long Weekend’, Solihull a ‘Christmas Market’. The markets each boast over 50 stalls with all sorts of yummy eco and fair trade stuff on offer.

Event organiser, Jane Redfern, tells us,
We’re keen to help local producers and makers reach out to a new audience. The mix of stallholders is much wider than those found in farmer’s markets and ranges from organic cabbages to contemporary crafts.
Their website is a must, if not only for little known facts like ‘Solihull is the fifth richest town in the UK’.
