The UK’s biggest ever Swish marathon is coming to Newcastle giving you the chance to refresh your wardrobe and save waste.
The BIG Swish, hosted by Bigwardrobe.com and ethical online women’s magazine daisygreenmagazine.co.uk (that’s us!) will be at As You Like It, Newcastle on Thursday 19 November.
The BIG Swish, road show began in Leeds in September and has visited Manchester and its third port of call is Newcastle. The daisygreenmagazine.co.uk team are experts at managing green events, and were a natural choice of partnership for BigWardrobe.com.
The event in Newcastle will include a charity clothes auction and raffles in aid of Cash for Kids who support thousands of children across the North East suffering abuse or neglect, are disabled and have special needs or simply need a little extra care.
Our top prize of the evening is a pair of tickets to see Peter Andre at the fabulous Sage building on the Gateshead Quayside.
Bowler Hat vintage will be setting up their pop up shop and have kindly donated a vintage outfit as a charity raffle prize. A number of local businesses will be selling their hand made products including BriaOrganics.co.uk, Fake Bake vouchers and a head massage in the dedicated beauty and pamper section. Other prizes to win include meal vouchers for As You Like It, a goody bag from John Lewis and a Nicola Adams spa experience.
Oh and you can nibble on cup cakes from Kilvingtonkrafts.co.uk
All clothes left over at the end of the evening will be donated to the Cancer Research UK shop in Newcastle City Centre.

Ticket price on the door is £7.50 of which £2.50 will be donated to Cash for Kids. The fun begins at 7.30pm.
