Organic vegetarian restaurant hosts Christmas fair
The Waiting Room, voted the best vegetarian restaurant in the country
The Waiting Room has been awarded many accolades including ‘Best in the North East’ in the Observer Food Awards 2007. BBC Good Food Magazine described it as a ‘great restaurant and made reference to their ‘inventive dishes’ and ‘wonderful homely, rustic atmosphere’.
On Sunday 21 December, it is hosting a cosy art, food and music fair between 2.30 and 6.00pm which will include affordable art works, jewellery, vintage clothes and classic and collectible vinyl. For a real winter warmer indulge in spiced punch, hot chestnuts and a steaming mug of festive soup.
