Little Green Story
Another London Fashion Week treasure
Estethica this year was full of ethical masterpieces just waiting to be found. And Little Green Story was no exception.
Originating in Sweden, designer Helena revealed her intention for the collection.
‘I wanted to create clothes that had comfort but with a rock edge’.
And she executes this with ease.
The collection is made up of a selection of t-shirts and sweaters with style. The cut and shape of the garments are made to flatter a woman’s shape and make the wearer feel comfortable and beautiful.
Each design is made unique with a different phrase written in English or French, as well as acting as walking advertisements with photos of models wearing the previous season’s collections.
Just take one look at the designs and you will see yourself in them – I immediately teamed the t-shirts with my oil-slick leggings and studded biker boots.
Influenced by the Sweden way of dressing, Helena says, ‘Us swedes love fashion but not in an extravagant way. We don’t like to show off, and we don’t like designer labels to be in your face. This is why these designs are ideal – they show style and substance without preaching or intruding.’
Little Green Story use 100% organic cotton and make all their designs in Sweden. They are more proof that fashion can be ethical and fair but also be fantastically stylish – and affordable too.
Prices start at £48 for a t-shirt, and peaking at £101 for a jacket.
All designs are available to buy online. Visit littlegreenstory.se for more information.
