It is definitely possible to stay ethical, look good and keeping prices low. We all know the right accessory can make an outfit, so here’s a few gems that will do just that.
You can see what they all look like in the gallery below.
Ascension
To add a splash of colour to your outfit whilst keeping out the Spring chill, pick up one of these raw, silk scarves for £15. They come in a range of colours, my personal favourite is the bright yellow – it will add an instant pick me up to your tired winter wardrobe. To keep the scarf in place or to add something to a blouse or cardigan, get their nature nymph brooch, £29. It has a great vintage look so will keep you on trend. From ascensiononline.com
Minna
For a little piece of designer class, Minna have this great Olivia corsage. It will look fab on a dress or suit at a wedding or big occasion, and can spice up a casual outfit whilst out for dinner or drinks. The detailing is beautiful, and is only £25. From minna.co.uk
Nomads
Nomads is a great one stop shop for stylish pieces. Their sarong (pictured right), £9.90, will act as a great multi-way cover up if you’re lucky enough to be heading off to warmer climes off this Easter, and can double up as a scarf when back on British soil. They also have a great range of bracelets and bangles, all priced at under £10, in lovely bright colours. It’s the same with their necklaces and earrings, great prices and a lot of choice. Definitely worth checking them out at nomadsclothing.com.
Bobelle
Bobelle have a beautiful range of leather accessories, and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Made from by-products of the food industry, their eelskin leather keyrings are as affordable as they are cute, priced at £13.50. They come in a fabulous range of colours, and will look very neat on your keys, storing change for a pop to the shops. From bobelle.co.uk
Ans Designs
Ever been in a restaurant or bar and not known where to put you’re handbag? I know I have. This great range of handbag hangers from Suspenbag will solve that dilemma! Small enough to pop in your handbag, they attach to the edge of the table and hold your handbag in place so you can keep it at your side. And they’re not ugly either! Priced at £7.50 and in a range of patterns and designs, you are spoilt for choice. The romantic ring by Bi:drio, £5.50, is a cheap but cheerful way to give a nod to the floral trend this season, and is bound to get some attention. From ansdesigns.co.uk
Emma Watson for People Tree
Emma Watson’s range is surprisingly affordable, which is great for me. She’s designed a few accessories in her range, including this college bag, £25. It would be great for the gym or travelling, and is emblazoned with the slogan ‘Don’t panic, I’m organic!’ It comes in either red or grey, and is proving to be one of the most popular items. There’s also the cute sun hat, £18, in a very summery colour of coral or plain white, great for country walks or, dare I say it, beach days. From peopletree.co.uk
