It’s the ultimate destination for underwear that will keep temperatures rising but your conscience clear.

The site sells an inspiring mix of beautiful, luxurious pants, bras, tassels, nightwear and masks created by hand-picked designers who follow the principles of fair trade, organic growing, respecting the environment and caring for workers, ethics at the heart of Saumarez.

The collections are made from beautiful vintage lace, antique and recycled materials, the purest, softest organic cotton and lavish chiffons and ribbons, dispelling any existing myths that environmentally sound clothing and fashion lacks style, glamour or comfort.

Victoria Groulef, Founder of Saumarez, said, “I’ve combined two lifelong passions, an understanding of sustainability and ethical working with my love of lingerie, and created Saumarez.

“We have taken huge care to ensure all our products, and packaging, are not only beautiful and of outstanding quality but are also of the highest ethical standards”.

Saumarez sells a number of unique, limited edition pieces of upcycled lingerie including pasties (nipple tassels) and merkins (a tassel like cover up for other intimate areas) from ‘Holloway-Smith Noir’ as well as exclusive, decadent designs from ‘Knickers in a Box’ you won’t find anywhere else.

The site is also one of a handful of UK retailers to stock the ‘g=9.8’ range of new generation lingerie and loungewear made from 94% recycled white pine tree clippings (all of which are timber grown), making a truly sustainable and biodegradable textile that is as soft as cashmere to the touch.

In the run up to Christmas, Saumarez will be offering a tie for tassels service. Purchase the tassels on the site (£30) and send us your old tie.
