My daughter loves all retro fashion and this would be a unique gift nto be able to send her. What a brilliant idea.
I have just got my wrist warmers in the post (I also ordered a beanie to match). They are quite superb. I love alpaca wool and as I wrote to Kathryn Shrimpton, you really forget how magically soft and silky it is until you touch it again. I can thoroughly recommend Wear Alpaca, it is a small site but so well run and filled with relevant information.
I am certainly buying again – I’m looking forward to the shrugs – I may well even purchase some of the wool to knit myself.
In the end I chose the Lilac pattern for a pair of black warmers and matching beanie. I am now looking forward to the cold weather to start wearing them.
