Our choice comes from myakka.co.uk. Myakka supply exclusive fair trade furniture, soft furnishings and home accessories Accredited to the British Association for Fair Trade Shops.
They work directly with manufacturers in northern India to produce exclusive ranges of Sheesham and Acacia wood furniture.
From their collection we have chosen a bookcase from their Khimsar range.
This is a petite design with three open areas for books and display plus a roomy drawer above, topped by a useful display surface. Crafted from honeyed Acacia hardwood, the design features tapered legs and a neat, patinated drawer handle.
Made from 100% Acacia wood imported directly from Northern India.
