Rowse fairtrade honey

How sweet!

Rowse fairtrade honey

What with all the coughs and colds out there this winter, a steaming mug of hot lemon juice with a spoonful of melted honey, slips down those sore throats a treat. Fairtrade honey from Rowse is available from major supermarkets and is divine.

In November, Rowse donated £100,000 to Professor Francis Ratnieks – the UK’s only Professor of Apiculture – at the University of Sussex.

The donation will support research at Sussex into breeding strains of ‘hygienic’ bees, which swiftly remove infected larvae and so reduce the spread of the disease within the hive, thereby helping the hive to keep on top of disease problems.
