A celebration of U
U4U is a modern membership organisation for young ladies launching on May 17 at the exclusive event called ‘girlation’.
Young ladies of London will not want to miss this day of inspiration, entertainment, pampering and giveaways. Participants and sponsors include LUSH, Models 1, Rococo Chocolates. Hosting the event will be MTV’s Carole Machin and Kate Edmondson.
U4U was founded by Ila Panik, a former professional dancer, Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor, London Business School graduate and serial entrepreneur with a strong passion to create a better world. Her U4U roundtable includes a team of passionate professionals who share their respective areas of expertise with the organisation.
The U4U club is built upon four pillars: fitness, kindness, culture and environment. Participation includes weekly meetings, team activities, building small enterprises, accessing professional coaching and making new friends. It is a fresh, fun and quality community for teens!
U4U strives to support the development of healthy, happy, confident and capable young ladies. U4U girls will inspire their peers, communities, educational institutions, careers, the world and most importantly themselves.
U4U also challenges issues such as obesity, anorexia, depression, self harm, cultural intolerance and global warming.
Further roll out of U4U will take place in the summer of 2009 when 20 lucky girls will have the chance to be founding members through the U4U pilot program. The broader release will take place in September 2009 – to coincide with the new school term.
